Puddle fun

Mummy's Birthday Splash

Grandma made her super special chocolate gateau - a must for every birthday! Lucas loved the singing but wasn't that interested in helping me blow out the candles :o)

It's summer but today there wasn't any Slip Slop Slap.. more like Splish Splash Splosh.

We went to the shops and bought Lucas some wellies and a mack. It was so big we had to fold the sleeves and the hood.

Out to dinner on the birthday eve, waiting for our friends to arrive.

I'm officially at that age when it's impolite to ask my age.

Hard at work

Today we played "Daddy at work" which was closely followed by "scatter the shoes and hurl the shoe rack into the bath"

I like this one as you can see his diamond shaped birth mark on his wrist.

Clever Monkey!

Guess what our clever little monkey has been up to.

We'd just popped into the garden for a SECOND and left him in the house watching us from the screen door ... and he decided to shut the back door - which was fine, but then we heard him delicately and decisively slip the bolt across.
He then looked at us through the window with that, "OK pick me up now" look on his face. Argh! Even if we had keys they'd be no good against the bolt.

Good job Steve is still athletic enough to hurl himself through the kitchen window

I tried to get another shot of him in action but he was more into bum break dancing and showing me the bit of fluff off the floor. hehe :o)

He's now figured out how to open the back screen door, climb up onto the dining chairs and thus the table. Goodness knows what's next!

Hello!

Hello to Aunty Maureen, Aunty Lilly and the Wozies, I had no idea you were visiting us here on Lucas' blog!
Feel free to leave a comment any time you like, lovely to have have you. Miss you and send our love to all the relo's.

This one was taken at the reptile park, Lucas liked chasing the ducks, the dirt and a hose the best.. well worth the money :o/
